About me
and my love for small dogs
I've been an animal enthusiast for my entire life, but I've always been drawn to dogs and dachshunds in particular. Ever since my gran introduced me to dachshunds I've never looked back - It's hard not to fall in love with their cheeky and outgoing personalities.
Professionally, I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1998 and have been caring for animals ever since. Just like people at a GP, each animal who's taken into a veterinary clinic needs to be treated as an individual with their own quirks, likes and dislikes. I carry the lessons I picked up from my veterinary years with me into Dachshund Walking, and see this as simply the latest step in a long journey of dog care.

I'm based in the lovely town of Eastleigh in the south of Hampshire. My drive-out services cover the surrounding area, including:

My Commitment to Sustainable Dog Adventures
Every little action has a knock-on effect that affects the planet, and dog walking is no exception. That's why I'm determined to make Dachshund Walking as sustainable as possible.
It's my endeavour to be as plastic-free as feasibly possible, from the water bowls I provide your dog with to the biodegradable poo bags I use. Sticking to only my local area also ensures that I'm able to reduce my carbon footprint by only driving small distances.
